Over the years, I have experimented with different air filters, and for the most part a lot of them were the same, usually just different brands.
Up until now, there was only one exception which was the HEPA air filter, which I had been using for a long time. But before I get to that, let me explain why I use a/c filters. Sometime back I had a small grease fire in my home, and I was thankfully able to put the fire out. But the smell, the smell was atrocious. Even the word atrocious doesn’t truly describe how awful it stank inside my home. I could barely go in there without coughing! That’s around the time I got my first air filter, which greatly increased the indoor air quality in my home. It wasn’t until later that I started actively experimenting with different air filters. As I said, for the most part the air conditioning filters were mostly the same. But then I discovered the UV air purifier. This air cleaner was unlike any other I had seen before, not only was it way better at cleaning out germs and bacteria and making my home feel clean, it used ultraviolet light to kill the germs which I thought was really cool. Installing the UV air cleaner was incredibly simple too, just have a HVAC professional come by and he can install it in your heating and cooling unit in under 15 minutes, and it’s done! Then you can expect to have great indoor air quality and no lingering smells.
