This basement room is gross

Three weeks ago, our colleagues and I started working regularly from home.

I thought it would be a temporary transfer for everyone that would really last a few weeks.

It seems clear now that both of us will be regularly working from home for a genuinely long time. My fiance is working from home all the time as well and both of us didn’t have a dedicated space for our office, but we quickly decided to turn the basement into an office space for both of us. We went down and spent an entire weekend cleaning and painting, by the time both of us were totally done, the area resembled a nice office space with room for our desks, iPads, and all the rest of our office equipment. My fiance and I worked in the area for numerous long and difficult weeks before both of us started to notice a problem with the indoor air in this space. Because their office space is underground, the area can become very damp and humid. We were having some trouble with our office component and I quickly started to worry that the issue was due to the damp air. My fiance immediately suggested that both of us buy a dehumidifier to put downstairs. I thought the little dehumidifier would be luxurious and I wasn’t into the idea at first. When our fiance showed myself and others all of the dehumidifiers that were available online, I was pleasantly surprised. We easily found the perfect dehumidifier for our office and both of us didn’t actually have to spend an arm and a leg. The dehumidifier works wonderful every day and I do not worry about the indoor air quality any longer.
