As I was growing up, my mom very constantly told us that you get what you pay for whenever it comes to things in life.
This rule applies to houses, cars, clothing, & even your massive heating & cooling plan in your house.
I learned this last part a couple of months ago when I was trying to find a current Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor to try to do the a/c maintenance work that I needed done in my house for several months. The weather was just heating up for the summer, & I finally knew that all of us needed to get our AC diagnosed & diagnosed before the temperatures outside abruptly got super hot. I called around to some unusual Heating, Ventilation & A/C companies that opened in the area to see what their prices were for AC tune ups & some of them were actually high! I finally observed that the Heating, Ventilation & A/C companies that were priced the highest online were also the 1s that had the best ratings. They had also been in the HVAC corporation the longest. The other 1s were much cheaper, however they really didn’t have any great ratings. I decided to go against everything that my mom seriously used to tell myself and others about getting what you pay for, & I just made an appointment with the cheapest and easiest Heating, Ventilation & A/C contractor that was available. I guess, looking back though, I should have expected that the person I hired to repair our a/c did a poor job. The AC worked for all of nine minutes before it went on the brink.
